Here are some helpful hints: Thoroughly clean wall and make sure it is dried out. For recently colored walls let paint “thouroughly dry” for 10 to 15 days before to putting on decals. Even if new paint feels dry, it may nevertheless need to settle and totally dry. Peel and Stick Wall Decals are not recommended on “Orange Peel” textured walls, over cinder blocks, very uneven and porous surfaces, wallpaper or delicate surfaces. Wall stickers are OK to use on tile as long as the surface is thoroughly clean and completely dry during installation. Make certain the design element does not cover grout area as water could leak under and compromise the adhesive. When using, make sure you start from one side (for the border) or the top (for the appliques) of each element. Keep the rest of the element separate from the wall/surface. Slowly go down over the product with your hand and smooth the element onto area (and press the bubbles out as you go). Once placed you ought to be able to move any leftover bubbles out by pressing/smoothing them out of the section. If the difficulty continues (this would solely occur with the giant decals), you can punch a tiny (invisible to the eye) hole with a pin to push the air out. In all, it is always most effective to check wall decals in an inconspicuous area. If the surface is uneven, effectiveness could be seriously reduced. Ensure that surface is thoroughly clean of dust and dirt or you may compromise the adhesive and destroy the product.
