Using Student Loans Responsibly

Student loans are the most common form of student support these days. In general, those in the know say that they make up just over half of all monies that students receive from outside their families or their own work every year. However, this rise in the quantity of student loans, has brought with it a rise in the quantity of student loan defaults. Therefore, student loan debt is one of the main concerns to those whose business incorporates lending to students.

Calendar – Which Calendar?

In the West, we tend to think that there is only one calendar, but there are dozens of them around the world. And what is more, there were almost certainly hundreds of them before. All defunct now either because ours is more precise or because theirs did not fit in with our commercial way of life.
