Open Question: What home hair color kit has the best brand, preferably for African American hair?
I want to dye my hair a honey blonde color and I'm wondering what brand of a home hair coloring kit is the best to use that will give the best results? I dyed a small piece of my hair with Soft Sheen Carson hair coloring kit and it didnt come out as light as it looks on the box. Are they all like that? Thanks. Oh by the way, my hair is like a medium to dark brown color and i have no previous color or bleaching in my hair.

I dyed my hair.. and you know the female side burn thingys ( these things: http://i38.tinypic.com/29osnzq.jpg ) i dyed them dark brown by an accident and they look terrible now, i was kind of panicking because i had a party to go to the next day so i just got a razor and shaved them off but because i hardly had any it didn't really make a difference YET now my face feels like its been shaved.. :( it doesn't feel soft like it used to. what should i do?? pleaaassseeeee help!!!! 10 points for best answer :) x
