What is an entrepreneur? An entrepreneur is someone who has decided to take on the risks associated with owning a business in order to do business in the way he or she feels is better. In addition to labor, land, available capital and natural resources, entrepreneurs help drive the production and creation of new goods and services. The successful entrepreneur is one with the talent for noticing a potential opportunity, and transform it into an income-generating business. Whether entrepreneurial traits are inborn or developed later in life is up for debate. But experts agree that certain common traits can help business owners succeed in entrepreneurial ventures.
